Our home is a 1700 sq. ft. ranch style house, located in Oceanside, Ca. When it comes to solar, the best position for the PV panels are facing south. The front of our house faces South-SouthEast (about 145 degrees). The palm trees were causing shade on various portions of the roof. As much as we loved them (I planted them 7 years ago), they were removed on September, 24th. From now on, there is virtually NO shade on the roof. |
